Pronounced “Shaped” but spelt a bit differently and founded because we’ve pretty much done it all over the last 12 years. Successes and failures. People and Talent. Hired and Fired. But more importantly, we’ve learnt everything.

Shapd is (and forever will be) a collection of people that are advocates for change. The Talent, People and Recruitment industry is archaic, broken and sometimes bloody expensive.

Companies still use practices, processes and teams that continue to be made up of 30+ year old ways of working. And frankly, we’re sort of over it.

We’re lucky enough to work with the most complex, varied and interesting commodity out there. People. People are diverse, intelligent, emotional, stressed, happy and sad. Some like tea. Some like coffee. Sometimes none of those things. And sometimes all of them.

The complexities of building out future-proofed teams, continually evolving practices, tools and processes for companies is at the heart of what we do. We’ve done it for years in some of Europes most successful businesses. The issue is, as successful as they were, there’s always a way todo it better than they did.
